You step with your non-dominant foot. Lesser warriors may not know this, but you’re keenly aware that you should always step with your non-dominant foot. True warriors know that your dominant foot is best used to balance yourself as you lean forward.

You have the perfect grip strength. It’s a beginner’s move to choke hard on the axe handle. Instead, born-again Vikings like yourself know that moderate grip strength makes it easier to release all of your fingers in one fluid motion.

You pull the axe back in a perfectly straight line. Naturally, you know this. By pulling the axe back in a straight line, you ensure you’re not throwing at an angle.
